You’ve heard the song lyric, “Easy like Sunday morning”? For more than half my life, there was nothing easy or peasy about Sunday mornings. And I loved that.
A lifetime ago, or so it seems, teens and young adults from across Montreal, came together every Friday night on the West Island at a gathering called the Life Centre. Three decades later, where are they now? What happened to the youth of the Life Centre? How did their experience in a Christian youth group influence the rest of their lives?
A friend answered opportunity's knock in 2012, and followed her dream to study medicine in London, England. It meant she had to stop believing she couldn't cope without friends, familiarity and her usual routine. In the long run she not only received an education, she found a lifetime partner while in England. They were married in April 2014.
