I know what it’s like. You find a girl, start dating, maybe get married, and soon you find yourself in this new exciting time. You’re working and in the prime of your life.

Some of you have kids and your priorities shift, like a good father should.

And again, you shift your gears, sometimes into overdrive.

Life In The Fast Lane

The months, and the years fly by. You’re hustling round the clock. Being a good provider, a good husband, a good father, a good employee.

But what they don’t see is that you are tired.

You’ll never let them see that.

You’re a man, and that’s what men do. We suffer silently, stoic, never complaining.

Men of The Rock

Do you feel burnt out? Like you’re stuck in rut, but on a personal level? You’re so busy taking care of everyone else, you forget yourself.

That’s why we started Men Of The Rock (MOTR).

I’m not saying that we take time for ourselves for our own vanity, but we look after ourselves, to keep ourselves healthy in every aspect, as to not lose sight of our true goal – to glorify God through everything that we do in our lives.

In serving our families, friendships, church, communities and work.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit with in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify god in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 (ESV)

Our Community

So remember, wherever you are in your life, if you feel tired, stressed, helpless or burnt out – you have a family that loves you, brothers that will help you, and a God that will lift you.

We physically condition ourselves with a God-centred focus, and our sessions are open to every man.

Our community strives to develop strong friendships through authenticity and support. If you are looking for a change, give Men Of The Rock a try. All fitness levels welcome. Saturday mornings at 7:00am at North Pointe.

“Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Corinthians 9:26, 27 (NIV)
