Kristen’s quote about Jesus preserving her life is my favorite. I cannot explain how awesome it was to read that quote! It is as if her words that day were directly from God’s heart to our ears…I pray and live to become more Christlike but, for today, I am hopeful I can even become more Kristen-like.
    Thank you, Lord!

“I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.” Stephen Covey

Everything is a choice. All too often we want an easy way out of our situation. Each day is made up of a myriad of choices that propels us forward (or backwards).

  • Jessica Stead says:

Great post. I resonated with #24 “The reason why people give up so fast is because they look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.” Too often we focus on our limitations rather than our capacity. When you shift your thinking to capacity building and gratitude, giving up is no longer a viable or desired option.

  • bob jones says:

Very profound, Jessica. Reading through to #24 says a lot about you and your ability to stay focused. Thanks for reading through to the end and commenting!

  • It is rare these days to catch people’s attention for more than a few seconds, isn’t it. Quotes are powerful and intriguing though, in the way they can cut through often complex emotions, thoughts or problems.

  • Carole Schlachta says:

But who’s hand holds the rudder?

  • My favourite at this point in my life. A bit of a realization quote for me to think on.

“The reason why people give up so fast is because they look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.”
