CROSS EQUALS LOVE2

Jesus came as the answer to the question, “Why won’t God do something?”

In the horrific shadows of the murderous cruelty of terrorists, killer storms, kids dying from cancer, the ungodly suffering of vulnerable people…God gives an answer.

God’s Answer

God offers Himself.

He gives His best.

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NLT)

Jesus, the Son of God and Son of Man is God’s way of healing a broken world.

Right On Time

“Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready.

He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready.” Romans 5:6 (The Message)

Two thousand years ago Jesus came into the world. His very name means “the Lord saves.”

He was born to die. The sinless Jesus died in my place for my sins.

That’s the simple message of the Cross.

Love On The Line

“We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice.

But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.” Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭6-8‬ (The Message)

God made a way for redemption and forgiveness. Jesus is the way.

The Cross

Think about the Cross if you wonder about God’s love for you.

Think about Jesus and your response to him.

Believe. Receive. Love. Unconditional.
