We all have heroes and to someone, you may be their hero.
This is one of those rare posts by Jocelyn, the other REV at REVwords.
Heroes
I certainly have my hero’s and for the most part they are not celebrities or well-known people, but ordinary, down-to-earth people.
My boys are my heroes.
I am thankful for friends. They’re my heroes.
Friends who we have walked along side of me and who we have walked with through the stuff of life. It hasn’t all been pretty. There has been sin, sickness, betrayal, broken relationships, family drama and a plethora of other hindrances.
But I hope through my life I can say, “Watch Me”.
Have I served Jesus well? Has my faith sustained me in the tough times and the uncertainties.
Watching
People are watching.
Are you worth watching?

Paul wrote, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1, NIV) Other translations use the word “imitate” which means to pattern your actions after someone else.
Paul wasn’t perfect. Far from it.
Rather than be an expression of ego, it is an invitation to heightened responsibility and accountability. That is humbling.
