Bob Kuhn, president of TWU certainly thinks so. On November 30 and December 1, TWU brought their arguments before the Supreme Court of Canada to defend their right to be a faith-based, accredited law school in Canada.

Kuhn says “the very essence of religious freedom in Canada” is being threatened.

Vaden Earle is a patriotic Canadian citizen, a lifetime humanitarian and a loving father. This year he had to hide his twelve year old daughter, Widlene from the police in the Dominican Republic and keep her back from attending school.

Through a perfect storm of unbelievable circumstances, including natural disasters and changes to country laws, every attempt to relocate back to Canada has failed and Widlene Earle has fallen through the proverbial cracks in the system.

#5 A PASTOR’S RESPONSE TO SEXUAL ASSAULT

Good spiritual communication calls for a response. Practical applications. “How-should-we-then-live” kind of action. Examples set by pastor/leaders. Many remarked on my call to action in a message referring to the #MeToo campaign.

“I’m sure you’re hearing this a lot today but thank you for what you said in your message. I talk to my boys about stepping up and being compassionate in highly politicized subject matters.

As their pastor I just wanted you to know that you echoed that to them today and they heard you. As your friend, I wanted to say that I am proud of you for courageously speaking out in such a thoughtful and insightful way. The world truly needs Jesus.”
