A Child in War Time
Imagine you are a child in war time.
You go to sleep with sirens.
Rocket craters, burnt out apartment buildings, and smoke on the horizon are all too familiar sights.
Loads of Love summer Camps are a reprieve from the horrors of war.
Children’s camps take place all across eastern Ukraine. This summer, over 2,000 children will have a week-long retreat, filled with nutritious food, amazing crafts, inspiring Bible stories and joy! What a thrill to help them treasure every moment of every day and feel the love of Jesus.
I’ve been there with the children. Sitting safely in my St Albert office I get emotional about these precious kids and all they are going through. That’s why Jocelyn and I are going to Ukraine this summer. To be with them. For them to see our faces and hear our voices say you are not forgotten. You are loved and precious in God’s sight.

You can help a child in Ukraine go to camp. And your church can play a part too. Invite your pastor or Children’s pastor to support a kids Day camp in Ukraine this summer. $250, $500 will go a long way to put a smile on a child’s face and hope in their heart.
