You only turn seventy once so why not celebrate and organize a fundraiser for a worthy cause?
$70,000
This is the page for information on supporting people as they run, ride, or walk for an all-Canadian fundraiser.
Bob Jones turns seventy on May 18th and family and friends across Canada are coming together to achieve a big, hairy, audacious goal for Ukraine. The fundraisers’ pictures and stories are listed below. Donations will be receipted through Loads of Love, a Canadian society founded by Bob’s friend, Ed Dickson. Bob will be taking his 2nd trip to Ukraine from April 3rd until April 24th
Instructions on how to give and how to support people are listed below. If you have any questions please email Bob at bob.pb.jones@gmail.com. Thank you for your generosity.
ALL donations will go to (no admin fees):
1. Food relief for displaced people in Eastern Ukraine. Every week Loads of Love distributes fresh bread and non-perishables to thousands of Ukrainians who escaped to places like Poltava, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Smila, Krivvy Rog. They deliver food to mostly senior residents living near the frontlines, who have no infrastructure and can’t or won’t leave their residences.
2. Mental health and addiction recovery support for soldiers and their families. Grief support for widows and orphans.
3. Facility repair.
